Kentaro Kawakami received the IEEE Encouragement Prize at the 6th System LSI Workshop.

The 6th System LSI Workshop was held at Laforet Biwa Lake for three days from November 25th to 27th. From our laboratory, 2 instructors and 8 students participated. In the workshop, lecture presentations, poster sessions, panel discussions were held, Professor Yoshimoto at the lecture presentation, panel discussion, and at the poster session, Mr. Kawakami and Miyakoshi announced. In the poster session, excellent posters were voted by participants, and Kawakami’s “Low Power MPEG4 Algorithm with Mobile Voltage Terminal Application Frequency-Voltage Cooperative Control and RISC Based System” got the same number of votes as the number of votes I won the IEEE Encouragement Award.
